PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS AND AVAILABILITY

Every care has been taken to ensure accuracy of description, specifications, colour and price of all products. However, these may change due to circumstances beyond our control. Sizes are given as a guide only. Please be aware that handmade items are subject to variations in size, colour and shape owing to the unique nature of the product.

All items are offered subject to availability. The information displayed is considered as an invitation, not as a confirmed offer for sale. The contract is confirmed upon supply of goods. Prices include tax, if applicable. Postage and packing are not included, and an additional fee will be charged - for more details please see the Postage and Packing section below.

POSTAGE AND PACKING

All goods will be available for collection from the gallery unless specified at the time of order. As with all purchases, liability of the item is the responsibility of the customer after the point of purchase. If you would like us to send you your order in the post, please read the below conditions carefully.

If requested at checkout, delivery will be made through Royal Mail (or alternative courier services if applicable) for UK orders, and International courier services for non-UK orders. All delivery charges will be payable by you.

If you are purchasing books, stationery or gifts from us (excluding ceramics, glassware, limited editions and artworks) we will send your order with the basic coverage offered by the shipping services we work with. If you would like a specific level of insurance or delivery service used, please contact us at the time of purchase, so we can do our best to accommodate your requests.

If you would like us to use our regular service to send an order containing fragile items, including ceramics, glassware, limited editions and artworks, we will do our best to ensure they are safely packed. Please note, we cannot guarantee these will be safe from any damage that may occur on their journey to you. We are in contact with an art shipping service and can arrange a quote for your goods, if requested. If you wish to discuss alternative shipping arrangements, please email us at shop@southlondongallery.org.

We will deliver the goods ordered to the delivery address which you supply. All delivery times quoted are estimates only, based on availability, normal processing and delivery time.

Books and Gifts

The SLG will endeavour to send your goods within 3 working days of receipt of payment, unless otherwise advised at the time of purchase.

Fragile Goods

Some items for sale may only be available for collection, unless the buyer wishes to accept full responsibility for their transport. This may include unique ceramics pieces and other fragile items which are not covered by shipping insurance.

Artists’ Limited Editions

The gallery packages each edition to their specific requirements. Once the item has been paid for in full, you will become the legal owner of the artwork. At this point, you will hold full responsibility for the artwork, and the risk of damage to, or loss of, the artwork will pass to you.

The SLG will endeavour to send your goods within 10 working days of receipt of payment, unless otherwise advised or agreed at the time of purchase.

ARTISTS’ LIMITED EDITIONS

All edition prices may be subject to change and are subject to availability. Certain editions are unique and may vary from those featured in photographs on the SLG website. Every effort will be made to ensure that the description and price of goods shown on the SLG website are accurate at the time you place your order.

Most Artists’ Limited Editions are signed by the artist and numbered according to their series or print run. Some Artists’ Limited Editions may be sold as unsigned or unnumbered, in which case a relevant product description will refer to that effect. Please note that not all Artists’ Limited Editions include a certificate of authenticity. The South London Gallery will endeavour to provide as accurate and detailed a description as possible for each Artist Limited Edition.

The South London Gallery reserves the right to refuse an order.

Once purchased, the general SLG refund policy applies. However, please be aware that editions arrive to you professionally packed, and that any return shipment will be expected to retain this packaging or equal standard. Upon return, the edition will be closely examined and any change in condition or damage will cause the refund to be refused.

By continuing with a purchase, it is deemed that you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions of sale.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the parties irrevocably submit to the nonexclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Nothing contained in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights.
